About the Vaporwave Text
Vaporwave text uses fullwidth characters, the wide letters originally designed for East Asian typesetting, to create the spaced-out retro look of vaporwave music and art.
Pair it with pastel emoji or the decorated styles below for the full aesthetic. The spaced style is a simpler alternative that adds a space between each letter.
Vaporwave Text FAQ
- What is vaporwave text?
- It is text written in fullwidth Unicode characters, which are wider than normal letters. It is a signature part of the vaporwave aesthetic that grew online in the early 2010s.
- Is fullwidth text the same as adding spaces?
- No. Fullwidth characters are single wide symbols, while the spaced style inserts regular spaces. Fullwidth text keeps words together if the line wraps.
