About Flag Quiz
A flag quiz is the quickest way to find out how well you actually know the world map. This one shows a flag and gives you four countries, and the wrong answers come from the same continent, so you cannot win by eliminating everything that looks far away.
The deck holds more than 90 flags from Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas and Oceania, including the ones people mix up constantly: Chad and Romania, Monaco and Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand, Ireland and Ivory Coast.
After each answer you get a line telling you which country it was, which continent it sits in and what its capital is, which is how most people end up learning capitals by accident.

Flag Quiz FAQ
- How many flags are in the quiz?
- More than 90, covering every continent. Each round draws ten of them at random.
- Why are the wrong answers always nearby countries?
- Because a quiz where three of four options are on other continents answers itself. Drawing distractors from the same continent makes the question a real one.
- Do the flags render on every device?
- Flags are emoji, so they use whatever flag set your device has. A few older Windows versions show country letters instead of a flag picture.
