About Geo Sports Quiz
This quiz mixes two things most trivia nights keep apart: world geography and international sport. One question asks which country a flag belongs to, the next asks who won the 1994 World Cup, and the one after that asks which city hosted the 2000 Summer Olympics.
Every round is ten questions drawn at random from more than 90 countries, 22 World Cup finals and 30 Summer Olympics, so no two rounds are the same. Four answers, one right, and a short explanation after each question so you finish knowing something you did not before.
If you would rather focus, there are single-topic versions: a flag quiz, a capital cities quiz, and a World Cup and Olympics quiz. Your best score for each is kept on your own device.

Geo Sports Quiz FAQ
- How many questions are in a round?
- Ten, drawn at random from the whole question bank. Nothing repeats inside a round, and a new round is a new mix.
- Does it include the 2026 World Cup?
- The 2026 tournament appears in host questions, since the United States, Canada and Mexico were confirmed as hosts, but there are no result questions for it in the data.
- Is my score saved?
- Your best score is stored in your own browser, so it survives a refresh but is never sent anywhere.
- Are the capitals the official ones?
- Yes, and countries with more than one capital, like South Africa and Bolivia, are deliberately left out so there is never an argument about the right answer.
