About the Strikethrough Text
Strikethrough text adds a combining line through each character, so the line stays attached when you paste it into apps without formatting tools.
It is perfect for the classic joke correction, where you cross out what you really meant and replace it with the polite version. You can underline or double underline text the same way.
Strikethrough Text FAQ
- How do I do strikethrough on Instagram?
- Instagram has no strikethrough button, so copy the strikethrough style here and paste it into your caption or bio.
- Why does the line look broken?
- Each letter gets its own line segment, so some fonts leave small gaps between letters. It still reads as crossed out.
