About the Cool Symbols
These symbols are Unicode characters, the same kind of text as letters and numbers, so they work almost anywhere you can type: Instagram and TikTok bios, Discord nicknames, game usernames, documents and text messages.
Tap a symbol to copy it. It is also added to the builder box at the top, so you can string several symbols together, add your own text and copy the whole line at once. Use the group buttons to jump to hearts, stars, arrows, check marks, music, flowers, aesthetic dividers, math, currency, brackets and card symbols.
How to use it
- Jump to a group or scroll to find a symbol.
- Tap it to copy it. Tap more to build a combo in the box.
- Paste it into your bio, username, caption or message.

Symbols and emoji
Many symbols, like ♥ and ☀, also have emoji versions. The text version takes the color of the surrounding text and looks consistent across devices, while the emoji version is a colorful picture that changes from phone to phone.
Cool Symbols FAQ
- Why do some symbols show as boxes?
- The app or font you pasted into has no drawing for that character. Common symbols like ♥, ★ and → work almost everywhere, while rarer ones may not.
- How do I type symbols on a keyboard?
- Most symbols have no key, so copying and pasting is fastest. On Windows you can also press the Windows key and the period key to open the emoji and symbol panel, and on a Mac press Control, Command and Space.
