About the Spin the Wheel
This free wheel spinner picks a random winner from any list you give it. Put one entry on each line, press Spin, and the wheel slows to a stop on a single option. Every slice is the same size, so each entry has exactly the same chance of being picked.
Teachers use it to call on students, streamers use it for giveaways, and friends use it to decide where to eat. You can shuffle the order, sort it alphabetically, or remove the winner after each spin so nobody gets picked twice.
Everything runs in your browser. Your entries are never uploaded, and there is nothing to install or sign up for.
How to use it
- Type or paste your options into the entries box, one per line.
- Press Spin, or click the wheel itself, and wait for it to stop.
- Read the winner under the wheel, then remove it or spin again.
Spin the Wheel FAQ
- Is the wheel spinner really random?
- Yes. Each spin uses your browser's random number generator to choose the winning slice before the animation starts, and every entry gets an equal slice, so each one has the same odds.
- How many entries can I add?
- Up to 200. Labels shrink as you add more, and very long entries are shortened on the wheel but shown in full as the result.
- Can I make an entry more likely to win?
- Add it more than once. An entry that appears twice gets two slices and twice the chance of being picked.
- Can I use it for a giveaway?
- Yes. Paste the list of participants, spin once for each prize, and press Remove to take each winner off the wheel before the next spin.
