Spin the Bottle

Type in the players, tap spin, and let the bottle decide who is up.

About the Spin the Bottle

Spin the bottle is the party classic, and this version replaces the actual bottle with a fair random spin. Add every player's name, tap spin, and the bottle turns several times before landing on one of them.

Because the landing angle is random rather than physical, nobody can blame the carpet or a clever flick of the wrist. Use it to decide who goes next in any game: truth or dare, charades, karaoke, or who gets the last slice.

It works well on a phone laid flat in the middle of the table, which is where most rounds of this game happen anyway.

How to use it

  1. Type one player name per line, up to 16 players.
  2. Tap Spin the bottle and wait for it to stop.
  3. The chosen player's name lights up. Agree what happens next before you spin again.

Ways to play

  • Dare version: whoever the bottle lands on does a dare from the group.
  • Truth version: the group asks that player one question they must answer honestly.
  • Turn picker: the bottle simply decides who goes next in another game.
  • Karaoke: the chosen player picks the next song, or sings it.
  • Chore roulette: the bottle decides who is washing up.

House rules worth agreeing first

  • Decide what happens on a landing before the first spin, not after.
  • Everyone gets one pass, no questions asked.
  • Nobody is required to do anything involving another person without their yes.
  • Re-spin if the bottle lands on whoever spun it.

Spin the Bottle FAQ

Is the spin actually random?
Yes. Each spin picks a random landing angle, so every player has exactly the same chance no matter where their name sits.
How many players can I add?
Up to 16 names, one per line. Names appear in a circle around the bottle.
What happens when the bottle lands on someone?
Whatever your group decided. A dare, a question, or simply taking the next turn. Agreeing the rule before you start keeps it fun for everyone.
